The Tennuvian breed was originated in 1991 along with the TENNUVIAN HORSE REGISTRY aka (THR) by Paula Bonser which now has more than 100 registered horses throughout the US & Canada.
The Tennuvian horse comes from a cross between Tennessee Walking Horses and Peruvian Pasos. Although there is a strong chance these two breeds have been crossed before, the Tennuvian name was officially coined by Paula Bosner, originally from Colorado and now residing in Spring Hill, Florida.
